The UBA Counseling Ministry’s purpose is to serve our association and our community by providing professional counseling, teaching, and discipleship from a Biblical perspective. We believe all true help, encouragement, and healing come from a relationship with Jesus Christ and His Word. 

Sherri McAteer is our current counselor. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina. She has been in practice for a little over three years. Sherri offers counseling in these areas:  Child-Centered Play Therapy, women’s issues, grief and loss, parenting, marriage counseling, self-esteem issues, anxiety and depression, adolescents and life adjustments.
